A National Trust–listed 1859 hotel built from local limestone, once a stop for overland drovers and river traders.
Built in 1859 from local limestone, the Overland Corner Hotel served drovers moving stock overland and traders working the river in the paddle-steamer era. Now cared for by the National Trust, the thick-walled old pub still pours a drink and serves a country meal, with a museum room and yards of history in its walls. A short walking trail leads down to the river. Atmospheric and full of stories, it’s one of the oldest and most evocative buildings in the Riverland.
