Bonney Reserve Berri Riverfront

Berri's landscaped riverfront and play space

Berri has invested heavily in its riverfront, and the result is one of the most welcoming foreshores in the Riverland — a long landscaped reserve where the town meets the Murray. Lawns, shade trees and a broad promenade run along the bank.

Families make for the playground and the supervised swimming area in summer, while walkers and cyclists use the riverside path that stitches the foreshore together. Public art, picnic shelters and the big mural-clad water tower nearby add to the sense of a town proud of its river.

It's a natural anchor for a visit to Berri — somewhere to picnic, let the kids loose, or simply watch the river roll by before heading off to the surrounding cellar doors, wetlands and orchards.
