Paringa Cliffs Reserve
A clifftop reserve above the Murray at Paringa with sweeping river views and golden sunset light.
Just across the river from Renmark, the cliffs at Paringa rise in pale ochre walls above a broad sweep of the Murray. A small reserve and lookout give an easy vantage over the water and the famous Paringa lift bridge, with the river curling away toward the Murtho cliffs upstream.
It's a quiet, free stop best timed for late afternoon, when the low sun sets the cliff face glowing and houseboats drift in to moor for the night. Bring a camera and let the big-sky river scenery do the rest.
