Morgan Riverfront Reserve
Shady riverfront lawns beneath the historic Morgan wharf, with picnic spots and river views.
Below the restored wharf at Morgan, the riverfront reserve runs along the Murray in a strip of shady lawn and red gum, a fine place to picnic, stroll or take in the scale of the river that once made Morgan a booming port.
From here you can read the flood markers, walk up onto the high timber wharf and imagine the steamers that once crowded this reach. It pairs naturally with the Morgan Museum and a wander through the old port town, making for an easy, history-rich riverside afternoon.
